Organic, raw apple cider vinegar infused with fresh pears and berries from our farm. Raw honey is added to sweeten this tonic up a bit with the pleasant addition of its own benefits, making this recipe an “oxymel”. Use in any way you would use vinegar, like cooking, but you could also use this as a shrub. A shrub is a refreshing drink, like a lemonade, where the acidic lemon juice is substituted with a vinegar or cider instead. They were consumed more often in the past when lemon juice wasn’t as easily available.
Packaged in an amber glass bottle. Amber glass has been proven to protect from damaging UV light rays better than other glass.
CAUTION: Raw honey is not recommended for infants under 1 year of age due to the risk of botulism.
